Tuesday morning me and Dustin had a meeting with the officiant that is going to perform the ceremony. His name is Reverend Benjy Simmons. He preaches for the Gathering Community Church in Surfside, SC. http://www.gatheringcommunitychurch.com/
He was very pleased that he would perform our ceremony. Me and Dustin enjoyed talking to him very much. But to Dustin's dismay he was a Miami Dolphins fan, because Dustin is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. But of course it was nothing but kind words spoken.

As the wedding planning continues... Im told alot of stuff that they wanna do, and i try to remember a lot of it, i also offer ideas but i just get shot down,but thats ok as long as shes happy. So in end of this blurb "They are drivin me insane" but thats ok i was headed that way any way.

Change of color theme...

     So after a long night of talking to my sister. We've decided to try to make this a Alice in Wonderland theme wedding. Just a few touches here and there. We're going to add red as a secondary accent color, so a base of black and white, with gold and red accents. I think its going to look beautiful.

      So Vicky had decided before hand she wanted Black and White for her colors. And me and Dustin wanted Black and Gold. So we're mixing both so it will be Black, White, and Gold. And the theme in my eyes, we're going towards fantasy, alice in wonderland/tim burton. But we'll see how it turns out.

Location, Location, Location...

With my sister already being engaged my mom had already picked a venue. I actually took a tour of it for her before she booked it, and its a very beautiful place.

The Wedding will be at the
Sand Dunes Resort
201 74th Avenue North
Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

 The Ceremony will take place on their Bali Patio area. Right next to the beach. We will get married under the hut, and of course it will be decorated with white. And the guest will be seated down the grass.




The Reception will take place in their Bali Ballroom. These are just pictures I compiled for the idea of how big the room will be, they had it seperated at the time. There is enough table space for 150people with a dance floor.

I know i want a black and white dress with straps and sleeves here is an example of what i want the top of dress too look like and here are examples of what black and white i like.  I also dont want a zipper up back i want to be able to tie the back up like a bodice.

My Dream Dress....

Unless I make or have someone make this dress it will only be a dream. But I have found similiar dresses. Like my sister(but i've always known what I wanted my dress to be) we are both having black and white dresses. And actually unknowingly to my sister its Spanish tradition for the bride to wear all black on her wedding day. But we're not that traditional so we're going with the black and white.

My Dream Dress

• Lace covered bodice, sweetheart neckline with a corset back
• Illusion top or sheer bolero jacket
• Ivory or white satin for the top layer of skirt.
• Black tulle over white tulle for underneath the satin pick-up for the second layer

This dress was the closes one I found to match my dress, I would just have to get a bolero jacket. Its really affordable too.

Double Wedding

So me and my sister have to decided to make this a double wedding. And she would be the only person I would do this with too. She's my sister and I love her. It would be budget wise also so my parents only have to help pay for one wedding. I am extremely excited about this wedding. I love Dustin very much. Let the wedding journey begin. ♥
